Today’s children don’t get enough exercise or play outside like their parents did in their childhood days. A lack of exercise or inactivity has a direct correlation with an increase in weight. Statistics of child obesity also say that over half of today’s children are not active enough for their age, not getting enough activity at school.

With careful attention, healthy lifestyle and diet there is a good chance the problem will be solved. Some solutions to change the statistics of child obesity include:

o Exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes, three times a week. Daily exercise is the best.

o Healthy diet plan, including home-cooked, low-fat meals with a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables.

With careful attention, healthy lifestyle and diet there is a good chance the problem will be solved.
