But even if you are not obese, it seems like just about everyone is worried about being overweight if for no other reason, because they feel it is unattractive.

There are hundreds of weight loss plans, books, videos, audio programs, and even TV shows designed to teach you, lead you, motivate you, and guilt you into losing weight. Whether you starve yourself, exercise 8 hours per day, eat nothing but protein, eat nothing but fiber, go to a weight clinic, pop weight loss pills, get your stomach surgically shortened, suck the fat out through liposuction, or jump on a machine that jiggles your fat until it falls off on the floor at your feet, there is one underlying secret to successful, lasting weight loss. Without this one secret, all your efforts will fail.

All successful weight loss begins and ends in your mind. You must make a lifestyle decision. This is not willpower; willpower will eventually fail you. You must change your underlying values and beliefs; you must convince your subconscious mind that you will be happier, healthier, and more attractive when you lean out and lose weight.

Tell yourself every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to bed, that you are changing your eating patterns and you like the new way better. Do this for at least 21 days, and you will have created a new habit which resides in your subconscious mind.

However, the fastest, easiest way to change your subconscious beliefs is through hypnosis which is nothing more than a way to communicate directly with your subconscious mind without your logical conscious mind getting in the way.

But Wait!… Maybe you are one of those people who can not be hypnotized. You don’t want to waste time and money on a hypnotist or even on self hypnosis downloads or recordings until you know it will work for you. Of course, you could write and record your own self hypnosis script for free, but make sure you follow the rules of the subconscious mind, or it will not work even if you are hypnotizable.

You can always resort to old fashioned will power to lose weight and try to logically convince yourself you are taking care of your health, you feel better, healthy food tastes better, and so on, but in the end the only permanent cure is to use hypnosis to change your underlying values and beliefs.
