Protect Your Self From Infertility

If you were to make a list of every possible cause that leads to infertility among women it would be quite a lengthy one, with millions across the globe suffering from this there are certain steps you can take to lower your risks of becoming infertile. Infertility is the condition whereby a woman is not able to conceive and become pregnant. Most medical practitioners believe that any woman who has spent a full year trying to conceive without any success is either infertile, or their spouse is.

Among the list of causes for infertility among women here are the most prominent ones, all of which can be avoided. The first, weight; being within your BMI or Body Mass Index for your size is a direct correlation to state of health and well being. In many situations woman who suffer from obesity, or are overweight are found to be infertile due to this. On the opposite scale, a person who does not weigh enough can be afflicted by amenorrhea, a menstrual cycle problem.

Stress is the second largest factor which plays a large role in the infertility among women. In this day and age – as middle class families are required to have two ‘breadwinners’ so to speak in order to survive there is an incomparable level of stress decaying the mental fortitude of most people. This is common more so among couples and newlyweds who are beginning to realize the monetary necessity required to raise children properly.

Along with stress, and a byproduct of a busy life is neglecting to eat properly, this can lead to the first factor, but more importantly malnutrition. For a person who is not digesting the daily vital amount of vitamins, nutrients, and amino acids through their diet will ultimately suffer their organs ability to function properly. Similarly, the consumption of cigarettes and alcohol which for the most part is also a byproduct of stress will have adverse effects on a persons immune system causing infertility.

There are many steps a person can take towards avoiding infertility, by being aware of the previous stated causes and using different practices such as yoga, meditation, and perhaps even acupuncture as treatment. Seek a nutritionist to re-evaluate your lifestyle habits, and remember to always put your health before your monetary desires, you only live once, however money comes and goes.
