Dieters Choose White Fish For Taste and Health

Very few things are certain in the world of dieting. One week, those who are looking to trim their waistlines are told that eating protein is the way to reduce their overall hunger and burn fat. The next week, they learn that the high calorie density of animal meats can contribute to weight gain and colon cancer. One article says that high fat diets promote heart disease and overweight. Another news segment promotes the hypothesis that fat increases satiety, and that low-fat carbohydrates and sugars are to blame for the ongoing obesity epidemic in the United States. What is a dieter to do?

The first thing to remember is that the changes you want to make should be done slowly, and maintained for the rest of your life. There are a few foods that are obviously incredibly unhealthy and should be dramatically reduced or eliminated altogether from the diet based on just about every piece of research and common sense.
